Program Description:
|
|
A seven (7) - session series
of interactive parent educational workshops and
presentations. The program focuses on teaching parents
"best practices" and techniques to help their
children be successful in school. Program goals are to
increase parental involvement in their children's
education, in schools and in the community. Parents will
learn parenting skills, how to motivate their children to
learn at home, promote reading, writing, good study habits,
organization, decision making skills, and how the school
system works.

Develop
leadership skills through involvement in PTA, LPAC, etc.
Learn
to teach reading and math skills using home activities
Learn
school /District policies and procedures
Learn
"Best Practices" to increase parenting skills
Increase parent
involvement and school volunteerism

School Fee: $285 per session ($1,995 for
7-weekly sessions)

Other Info: Presenter will provide
